Setup requirements
A TV with a free HDMI port
A free power socket
A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet)
For weak Wi-Fi, use the Ethernet port on the TV Box with an ethernet cable for a reliable connection.
Installation steps
Plug in power — connect the charging cable to the DC input on the TV Box and a power socket.
Connect HDMI — plug one end into the TV Box, the other into your TV.
Turn on the TV and switch to the correct HDMI input.
Boot and open settings — after the TV Box boots, follow the tutorial and press Menu on the remote (or the top-left of the screen) to open settings.
Connect to Wi-Fi — go to Wi-Fi settings. Don't use public or guest Wi-Fi with a captive portal (login pop-up); those time out and disconnect devices.
Enter the password using the on-screen keyboard. Press Return to confirm.
Whitelist if needed — if your network requires whitelisting, the MAC address is on the bottom of the box (and in the Wi-Fi menu under IP/MAC).
Exit Wi-Fi settings — once connected, exit. A Pairing ID appears on screen.
Pair in your dashboard
Open the FRAMEN dashboard, go to Screens, click Connect Screen, and enter the Pairing ID along with a title and location. See Add a screen for full details.
Good to know
The FRAMEN TV Box runs Android 9, tuned for signage use (not standard Android TV).
Screensaver, sleep mode, and captive-portal networks cause downtime. See Keep your screen awake and online for details.
For returns or replacements, see Return or replace a TV Box / TV Stick.
