Use-case
Every screen you want to monetise or manage must be paired into Screen Manager. Once paired, it appears in your dashboard and earns through approved ads.
The two-step hierarchy
Screens live inside a Location (the physical venue). The flow is:
Add a Location (if you don't already have one).
Connect a Screen into that Location using its Pairing ID.
The top-right CTA on the Inventory page is + Add Location — there's no standalone "Add Screen" button. Connect Screen actions are opened from inside a Location.
Add a Location
In the sidebar, open Screens (or navigate to
/ssp/inventory).Click + Add Location (top-right).
Enter the street address. Autocomplete is powered by Google Places.
The Location is created in Draft; the edit page opens.
Fill in required fields: Title, Venue type, Opening hours, Visitors per day (Mon–Fri). Optional: Contact info, photos.
Click Submit (top-right). Since a Location can't be reviewed without at least one screen, Submit automatically opens the Connect Screen dialog.
See Create and approve a location for full details.
Connect a Screen
The Connect Screen dialog has:
Title — a human-friendly label (e.g. "Lobby Screen" or "Elevator Screen").
ID — the Pairing ID shown on the device when it boots into pairing mode.
Screen size (optional, inches) — helps ad targeting.
Venue type (sub-type) — dropdown of sub-types for the parent Location's venue type.
Copy content from an existing screen — clone assignments from another screen. Time-saver when rolling out identical screens.
Click Connect. The screen pairs and appears in the Location's Screens tab with an Online/Offline status.
To pair a screen into an existing Location later, open the Location and use + Connect Screen from its Screens tab.
Device checklist before pairing
Device is powered, connected to the TV's HDMI input, and online via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
A Pairing ID is visible on the screen. On FRAMEN TV Box, the MAC address is on the back.
Firewalls don't block the device. If your network requires whitelisting, the MAC is shown on screen and on the device.
For LiteURL or API integration, contact your account manager.
Naming convention
Use a consistent structure for multiple Locations and screens:
City - Street | Room (e.g. Berlin - Vine Street | Lobby)
Connecting multiple screens from one device
Use an HDMI splitter to mirror one device onto multiple TVs. Check that your splitter and screens support the required resolution and refresh rate. Both screens display the same content.
Next steps to start earning
The Location must be approved by FRAMEN (3–5 days after Submit).
The Ads toggle must be on for the screen. See Manage screen settings.
Set up payout info in Settings → Billing → Set up payouts. Otherwise a yellow banner appears on Reports.
Good to know
Compatible devices: Most Android TV, Fire OS and FRAMEN TV Box devices work. Amazon Fire TV Stick is the easiest workaround for Smart TVs without the FRAMEN app. See Connect any screen.
Status pill: The Inventory page shows
N/M Online(e.g.1/193 Online) — how many screens are currently online. Useful for a quick health check.Finding the Pairing ID later: Open the screen row's kebab (⋮) → Copy pairing ID. See Find your Screen ID.
Minimum requirements: See What type of screen do I need? for aspect ratio, HDMI, size and connection guidance.
