Use-case
Not all content plays all the time. A lunch menu belongs in the 11am–2pm window. Weekend offers shouldn't show weekdays. Scheduling lets you express these rules per item.
Where scheduling lives
Scheduling is set per item from the Gallery Properties drawer. There is no separate Scheduler page.
Open Gallery from the Screen Manager sidebar.
Click the item you want to schedule.
The Properties drawer opens on the right with three tabs: Screens, Schedule, Details.
Open the Schedule tab.
On workspaces where Publishing is enabled, you can also set playlist-level scheduling from the Publishing sidebar item.
Steps
Confirm assignment — make sure the item is assigned to the right screens under the Screens tab. See Upload and assign content.
Switch to Schedule tab.
Set the rules: - Limit days — tick specific days of the week. - Limit time — restrict to specific hours. - Specify start date / end date — fixed-duration run.
Save.
Scheduling scenarios
Daily breakfast menu — Monday to Friday, 7am to 10am, no end date.
Weekend happy hour — Saturday and Sunday, 5pm to 8pm, no end date.
Summer campaign — all day, every day, from 1 June to 31 August.
Event week — all day, limited to the week of the event.
Good to know
Priority hierarchy — scheduled content plays between ads and Channels you've subscribed to. Playout order: Ads / Channels > Priority items > regular content. Ad frequency is controlled separately; see Manage screen settings.
Plan around opening hours — content only plays when the screen is on. Match Location opening hours to when your screen is active. See Create and approve a location.
