How you earn revenue

You earn at least €1 per 1,000 ad playouts on each screen. Revenue accumulates live, is credited monthly, and paid out the Wednesday 30+ days after credit.

Use-case

Understanding earnings helps you maximize them — more screens, more uptime, faster approvals, and better location data all boost revenue.


The basics

  • Rate — at least €1 per 1,000 spot plays, per screen.

  • Measurement — screen-based. Two screens in one location = twice the plays.

  • Payout — monthly, via credit note.

  • Tracking — live in the dashboard any time.

Actual revenue varies based on campaign mix, targeting, and screen performance.


How payouts work

  1. Revenue accumulates as ads play across your screens.

  2. On the 1st of each month, FRAMEN issues a credit note for the previous month's revenue (plus VAT).

  3. Credit note is downloadable in the dashboard as a PDF.

  4. Payment processes on the nearest Wednesday, 30+ days after the credit note issue date.

Example: Revenue earned in March → credit note issued 1 April → payment processed Wednesday 30+ days later (around 3 May).

Set up or update your bank info in Your billing and payout details.


More screens = more revenue (but not doubled)

Adding screens to a location increases playouts and exposure, but doesn't linearly double earnings. More screens mean ads play more often within the location, but impressions per screen usually drop. Still, more screens typically means higher total earnings over time.


How to maximize earnings

Keep screens online Offline screens disappear from the marketplace. See Keep your screen awake and online and Get email alerts for screen issues.

Keep Ads Provider on Double-check that Ads Provider is toggled on for every screen. Ads off = no earnings. See Manage screen settings.

Share accurate location data Daily visitor counts, opening hours, contact info, and audience demographics feed the matching algorithm. Better data = more relevant campaigns = more bookings. See Create and approve a location.

Add photos Venues with clear screen photos get booked more. See Photograph your screens.

Keep blocklist short Every brand you block is a campaign you can't earn from. Block only real conflicts.

Use auto-approval If you don't have strict brand restrictions, auto-approval reduces delays between campaign launch and earning. You can still reject within 48 hours.

Raise ad frequency In screen settings, the ad frequency slider controls how often ads play (10 seconds to 10 minutes). Higher frequency = more plays = more earnings. See Manage screen settings.


Good to know

  • Heat from TV Box — some FRAMEN TV Boxes run slightly warm. A minor side effect is reduced humidity near the screen — not a feature, just a quirk.

  • Payout info required — revenue can't be disbursed until payout information is complete in Settings → Billing. If the Reports page shows a yellow "Set up payout info to receive payouts" banner, finish payout setup first. See Your billing and payout details.

  • Payment issues — for late or missing payments, contact your account manager or [email protected].
