The Screen ID (also called Player ID or UUID) identifies each screen on FRAMEN. Here's where to find it.

Use-case

You'll need the Screen ID when pairing a device, troubleshooting with support, or identifying a screen in the dashboard.

On a FRAMEN TV Box, stick or Smart TV with the FRAMEN app

  1. On the remote, press the menu (hamburger) button.

  2. Navigate to Support (or the ? icon, depending on app version).

  3. A popup shows the app version and UUID. Note or photograph it.

Using LiteURL or API

  1. Open the FRAMEN dashboard and go to Screens.

  2. Open grid settings (the table preferences icon) on the right.

  3. Tick Player ID and Save.

  4. The Player ID now appears as a column in the list.

Match a UUID to a screen

If you have a UUID and need to find which screen it belongs to:

  1. Go to Screens in the dashboard.

  2. Open grid settings and enable Player ID.

  3. Search for the first few characters of the UUID.

  4. Click the matching screen to open it.

Good to know

  • Troubleshooting an offline screen or pairing issue almost always requires the UUID. Having it ready speeds up support tickets.
