Creative specifications

The file type, size, resolution and duration requirements your images and videos need to meet before they upload to the Ads Manager.

Files that don't meet specs are rejected at upload. Use this as the checklist to share with your design team before they export.


Frame size

Most campaigns include both orientations so a single ad can run on any screen, regardless of how it's mounted.

PNG alpha channels are not supported — flatten transparent backgrounds onto a solid colour before upload.

Why 10 seconds? Longer videos reduce ad display frequency — your ad plays fewer times per hour. Ten seconds is the sweet spot.

Network requirement: Each screen needs at least 5 Mbps of internet speed to play video reliably.


Where to upload creative


To your Gallery

Open Gallery from the Ads Manager sidebar, then click + New Creative. Creatives are scoped per Brand and grouped into Folders. Upload once, reuse across campaigns.


Directly to a campaign

From the campaign detail page, click + Add in the Creatives section to open the creative picker. Anything you add here is saved to the Gallery automatically.


Good to know

  • Creative that violates FRAMEN's creative policy is rejected regardless of whether the specs match.

  • Embed a short link or trackable URL in the creative to measure response.
